Solid Waste Management Plans, Walloon Region

IBH compared Solid Waste Management Plans proposed by local authorities and private operators and made  synthesis and comments according to general objectives of Regional Plan 2000-2010.
The general strategy of public and private municipal waste management including non-hazardous industrial waste has been revised.
IBH compared applicable technologies, reviewed recent improvements (incineration, thermolysis, biomethanisation), developed and optimized management plans for each province and the whole region (3,500,000 inhabitants).
